Events

I do a number of public speaking events each year. Right now, I don’t have anything scheduled, but check back later!

If your organization would like to book me to speak at a conference or other event, please contact Carol Schneider at the Workman Speakers Bureau:

  • Hi, Leanne,
    Your book is great.
I’m using it in a course I’m teaching a Food-themed semester to college students.
I’d love to discuss with you how feasible it is to stay within the bounds of the $4.00/day in the city, especially in Lower Manhattan, where we are living.
Let me know if you are doing a local event at some point this spring or would be willing to come as a guest speaker to my class.
From a fellow Canadian and Home Cook,
    Naomi Guttman

Hello, Leanne. I’m a case worker in a supportive housing program where most of my clients are elderly, previously homeless, and on a fixed income including SNAP/Food Stamps. We recently attended a training for AWARDS program but also happened to see this book being distributed at that site. I’m so glad this came to my hands! I’m totally sending this to our Nutritionist because this is GOLD! Thank you so much!

Tell me what you think!

(Don't worry, your email address won't be published.)

Good and Cheap cover 2nd edition

Good and Cheap is a gorgeous cookbook for people with limited income, particularly on a $4/day food stamps budget. The PDF is free (ahora en Español!) and has been downloaded over 1,000,000 times. I have more cookbooks!
